The Redwood City Art Center is an excellent option for artists desiring affordable working space in a centrally located area. There are 25 studios that range in size and price, with some being large enough for two artists to share. Monthly rental fees cover utilities, facility manager, and janitorial service. Society of Western Artists (SWA) Gallery in the Art Center
Need a place for your classes, workshop, lecture or show? The SWA Gallery is available to rent for your event. The gallery size is approximately 700 sq. ft. with great natural light and a large open space. Our gallery space can comfortably accommodate approximately 12 students with easels along with your instructor. Watercolor workshops can accommodate more with students sitting at tables. Please see our slide show below for a view of the galley during a workshop. Tables and chairs are available for your event.

$100.00 per day

The freshly painted halls of the Redwood City Art Center are equipped with a rod and clip art hanging system that can accommodate more than 50 art works. The main hallway is approximately 80' long and 8' high. A small common area can be used for meetings and receptions. For information, call 650-366-6178.
A 10' x 10' display window that fronts onto Broadway, one of the main streets in downtown Redwood City, can be rented by the month for art exhibits. The walls are equipped with a rod and clip hanging system that is easy and flexible to use. The floor space can also accommodate art on easels or pedestals. For information, call 650-366-6178.
